ABOUT ME
Local Perspective in historical preservation
I have an eye for what maintains integrity in some of the classic old homes in Pasadena. I don't know it all, but I know where to find the answers. I can see what can be when I walk into an historic Spanish, Mediterranean, or Craftsman home. I love authentic textures, colors, and materials grounded in old world design, hand made, yet remaining imperfect, but highlighted by their individual uniqueness from custom artistry. I like to find original styles and blend them with traditional eras, renovating something old and creating a new feeling with a signature flare that you won't see again and again in every home you walk in to. Let's call it finding common ground.

A peek into the past...now

DINING
In this 1930 Spanish Revival we bring original doors and windows to life by enhancing their original wood grains with stains instead of the layers of paint we found on them. Dining table, chairs & chandelier were curated through architectural salvage resources in Pasadena. Original wood floors brought to life and just the right hue of grey paint to highlight the space.

LIVING
We highlighted the original beams in this over-sized living space, restored the Clay Craft fireplace, salvaged matching pairs of 5-light french doors to access the sun room and the outdoor patio. 6 1920's Spanish Revival sconces were curated to maintain the integrity of this historic home.

KITCHEN
This gourmet kitchen was redone from floor to ceiling.  Kitchen includes, custom cabinetry with brass hardware finishes, Quartz countertops, a French Chambord Farm sink, beautiful Rohl polished nickel fixtures, Viking refrigerator, Bertazonni dishwasher, Blue Star Range, traditional tiled backsplash and stained Satillo tiled floor, opening up to a covered deck for those warm summer nights

SUN ROOM
This extension of the living area, gives you a warm and cozy space to read, sip your morning coffee, or relax with the view of the back courtyard through multi-light windows and french doors to let in the fresh air.
